Portrait of a Woman in Blue and Green. 2011. Oil on canvas. 24" x 14" (60 x 35cm)

An unusually shaped painting, longer and thinner than it appears in the image above, which has been cropped slightly. The colours are unnaturalistic in this case, to give a slightly otherworldly effect. Subject was strongly lit by sunlight from one side. Begun in a studio and finished from photographs taken by the artist at the time.
